I can't remember the song well but it was a story-like song about the guys mother-type figure passing away and the memories he'd shared with her. It had beautiful violins in the background. Anyways, this song gave inspiration for this pic for my friend =Evilsquirrel. I hope things get better for you soon hun.

I love the rich, earthy colours that you used, and the style of blending that weaves them together so softly. The whole scene looks like a dreamscape. o.o
The pose is also lovely, very natural (and again, soft).
Also, the darkness of the tree in contrast to the bright sun creates a beautiful effect. Great shading!
